How many people does the boat take?
The boat is licensed to carry 15 passengers maximum and 2 crew members. However, same is dependent on sea and weather conditions, load the passengers are carrying and the activity the clients wish to do. For instance, if the client wishes to go fishing, we take up to 4 people as there will be fishing hazards. To ensure comfort and safety, we usually take up to 8 people on average for excursions and island-hopping.
How big is the boat and what is the engine power?
The boat is 29ft and has two outboard engines of 200 HP each.
What should we bring along on the trips?
We advise clients to bring along sunscreen, insect repellent, bathing suit, towels, motion sickness pill if you get sea sick, cameras as well as any other essentials you may need.
What are the operating times?
For half days we offer 8:30am to 12:30pm trips or 1:30pm to 5:30pm trips. However, we are also flexible with our times and may depart at other hours of the day for a half day trip, of course dependent on whether or not we have any other charters scheduled on that particular day. Our full day trips go from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Can we customize or add activities to our trips?
We aim to be flexible and efficient in the services provided to our clients. Therefore, we do allow of customization of trips to include different islands and activities. However, same shall be subject to availability and time as well as the location of the additional islands or activities. For example, should the islands be further and require additional time on the trips, you may be charged extra.
Can we bring children on the boat?
Children as of age 1 are allowed on the boat. However, please be advised that the responsibility of any child on board lies solely with the accompanying adult at all times.
What age range are considered children and adults?
Children are considered from 6-12 years in terms of pricing. Adults are considered from 12+ years of age.
What is included in the trips?
For all trips, excluding transfers, the price includes marine park fees, 2 bottles of water per person, 2 beers per person (or juice if the client does not want beer) and soft drinks and a fruit platter. For transfers, we provide 2 bottles of water per person. For more details, you may refer to each trip description.
We also have toilet facilities on board, front-shade cover, fresh-water wash down, snorkeling equipment, life jackets and life rings available for all trips. Fishing gear is also provided for fishing trips.
What is excluded in the trips ?
Dependent on the trip, the following are excluded:
- Entrance fees on islands and nature reserves (such as Curieuse Island, Moyenne Island, Cousin Island, Union Estate on La Digue, Vallee de Mai on Praslin).
- Lunch costs.
- Bicycle rental on La Digue (SCR150 for normal bicycle and SCR400 for an electric bicycle per person)
- Buggy rental on La Digue (SCR1,500 for 4 hours)
- Any transport to be taken to reach your destination on any island.

Do we require a deposit?
No deposits are required. Payment should be done on the day of the charter. However, we trust that our client will advise us 48 hours in advance to any cancellations so that we may schedule our calendar accordingly.
Can a trip be cancelled or rescheduled?
Should there be bad weather or any unforeseen circumstances, the trip may be cancelled. The trip may also be rescheduled for another time and date, dependent on availability.
Do you offer transport services to Eden Island and back?
We do not offer transport services as part of our packages. However, we may organize transfers to and from Eden Island by a third party and at an extra cost.
What language does the crew and representatives speak?
We speak Creole, English and French.
Can we smoke on the boat?
We do not allow smoking on the boat.
Are there any safety rules on the boat?
A safety briefing will be provided before the start of each trip. Please pay attention to the instructions and ask questions if anything remains unclear. During all trips, the skipper has authority over the boat and passengers so please take note of the instructions being provided for your own safety. We also advise clients to remain seated while the boat is cruising to the destination.
Do we need to provide tips to crew members?
Tips are at the discretion of the client.
